Week two has come to a close!
As of right now, are right on schedule, and if we continue as we’re going, we’ll have two robots built and ready to go by the week zero scrimmage hosted by Eagan’s robotics team, Blue Twilight.
Here’s where the Millerbots are!
Build:
This week in build we completed our prototype manipulator, which is a winch and grabber mechanism so that at the end of the match, we can attach to the rope, and climb it.
Electronics:
In electronics we finished our test bed so that we could begin making sure all of our components are fully functional, and so that programming could begin figuring out how they were going to write the brain of the robot
Scouting:
In scouting, we finished the pit scouting sheet as well as the match scouting sheet and started the excel spreadsheet which helps us to analyze matches during comp.

As I write this, we are wrapping up with week three of the build season.
We’ve managed to get solidly ahead this week. We’ve completed our electronics board, and our chassis is bolted together. The manipulator works, and has lifted the robot ten consecutive times without issue!
Scouting finished the excel sheet, and began working on our new, updated sponsor brochures, and fundraising.
