With this week starting, the Kitbot portion of the team is preparing for their week 0 competition at Eagan High School! The newer members have continued practicing driving and have started getting a packing list prepared for their competition. The build section of the team has nearly completed the indexer on the main robot and has moved on to start on a shooting and climbing mechanism on the robot. Members are working hard to cut, drill and wire up different components of the shooter and climb mechanism. MOCS has started construction of an entry for the Great Northern train car competition in Grand Forks! The team is going to submit a mini grain hopper that will be pulled around with other teams’ train cars and judged to determine the winning train car. Scouting has continued further developing the QR code scouting system to make data collection more efficient. Overall, things are going strong!
